This California Privacy Act Policy (“CA Privacy Policy”) supplements our Privacy Policy and explains the rights of California residents under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA) and the California Privacy Rights Act (CPRA). Medical information we collect and use in the course of providing healthcare services is generally governed by HIPAA and the California Medical Information Act (CMIA), which may limit or supplement the rights described here; this policy addresses personal information collected through our website and general communications that is not otherwise exempt.

1. Scope

This policy applies to California residents whose personal information we collect through our website, consultation forms, phone or email communications, or other interactions with Regenerative Medical Clinics of Southern California.

2. Categories of Personal Information Collected

In the preceding 12 months, we may have collected:

Identifiers: name, email address, phone number, and IP address.
Health / medical information (general inquiries): general descriptions of health conditions or symptoms voluntarily provided in a consultation request. Detailed PHI collected and used in the course of care is governed by HIPAA and CMIA.
Commercial information: consultation requests and service inquiries.
Internet activity: browsing history and interactions with our website.
Inferences: interests or care needs based on your inquiries.

We do not knowingly collect sensitive personal information beyond what is necessary to respond to your inquiry or provide care.

3. Sources of Information

We collect personal information directly from you through website forms, phone and email communications, and cookies and analytics tools.

4. Use of Personal Information

We use personal information to respond to consultation requests and inquiries; provide and coordinate regenerative medical care; communicate with patients and prospective patients; improve our website and services; and comply with legal and healthcare obligations.

5. Disclosure of Personal Information

We may disclose personal information to authorized service providers supporting our operations and to legal, regulatory, or healthcare authorities as required by law. We do not sell personal information.

6. Your California Privacy Rights

If you are a California resident, you have the right to know what personal information we collect and how it is used; request deletion of your personal information; correct inaccurate personal information; opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information (if applicable); limit the use of sensitive personal information (if applicable); and be free from discrimination for exercising your privacy rights.

7. How to Exercise Your Rights

Note that medical records and PHI requests are handled through our HIPAA / CMIA process; contact us and we will direct your request appropriately. Where required by law, we honor the Global Privacy Control (GPC) signal as a valid opt-out request.

8. Data Retention

We retain personal information as long as necessary for healthcare operations and to comply with HIPAA, CMIA, and applicable California law.

9. Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information

Regenerative Medical Clinics of Southern California does not sell or share personal information as defined under the CCPA/CPRA. If this changes, this policy will be updated and we will provide a method to opt out.
